Missions
Covivio’s Hotels Division is looking for an Analyst for Asset Management and Development based in Madrid, Spain, starting ASAP.
As part of the Asset & Development Management team, based in Madrid, you will support the implementation of real estate strategies across our Southern European portfolio. You will be involved in both operational and strategic management, working closely with local teams, hotel operators and the Group’s Hotel Management.
Asset Management
Monitor hotel operational performance: monthly reviews, KPIs, P&L analysis, market and competitor benchmarking.
Track the technical condition of the assets and coordinate with the technical team on capex planning.
Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets and business plans.
Coordinate with hotel operators, internal teams (finance, legal, technical), and external service providers.
Prepare presentations and internal reports.
Acquisition & Repositioning
Analyze investment and asset repositioning opportunities: financial modeling (DCF, IRR, sensitivity analysis), due diligence support and investment structuring.
Conduct market research and benchmarking.
Draft investment memos and internal presentations.
Support asset disposal processes.
Profil
You hold a Master’s degree from a business school, engineering school, or university with a focus on finance and have 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position, ideally within a real estate or hospitality group (REIT, investment fund, asset manager), a bank (M&A, real estate financing, structured finance), or a consulting firm (transaction services, real estate audit).
Key skills required:
Financial expertise: financial modeling, key financial ratios.
Market knowledge: good understanding of hotel real estate market trends and key players.
Analytical & writing skills: ability to structure complex analyses and communicate findings clearly and concisely.
Excellent interpersonal skills: comfortable collaborating with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, with strong coordination and synthesis capabilities.
Tool proficiency: advanced in financial modeling (Excel) and presentation design (PowerPoint).
Language: fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written); French is highly valued.
